Mavs got work to do

They're trailing 44-33 to start the third quarter and are getting waxed even though they've held Portland to 38 percent shooting.

Jason Terry will not get the start at the beginning of the third quarter, even though the Mavericks need all the offense they can get. Then again, J.J. Barea was tied with Terry as their leading scorer in the first half with eight points.

The 33 points was a first-half low for the season, by the way.
